Deniece Williams was an artist that appeared on TV One's Unsung. I knew her before I saw the show because of her song Free.
I remember hearing this song on the radio for the first time and being
absolutely enchanted by it. She has such an angelic voice and this song
is so soothing. Free was first released in 1976 on her album This is Niecy. Have a listen and free yourself!
